Lucy Mailing is an MD-PhD student in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Illinois. Her research focuses on the effects of diet and exercise on the gut microbiome, and how this impacts gut and skin diseases. Lucy has contributed to several peer-reviewed publications and was recently named an Emerging Leader in Nutritional Sciences by the American Society for Nutrition.
